Tennis matches are generally quiet with the exception of players grunting, balls bouncing, and then the crowd reaction. You got that when Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Kruegerbattled it out at theSarasota Open, but it wasn’t only from the tournament it was from an amorous couple suspected to be at an apartment near the stadium.
Around :15 into the video below is when the moans become distinct, with Tiafoe looking up and grinning real hard right before an attempted serve across the court to Krueger.
At that point the audience, not really sure what’s going on, begins to let out awkward chuckles, with play-by-play commentator Mike Cation calling it quite the bizarre situation.
Im not sure how to put this folks, he begins to say, but someones phone is going off in the stands and its an adult video.
He would be wrong.
The game picks up again, but the intense sounds of, uh, passion begin to pick up again at around 1:50.
I still hear it its still going, Cation utters out of shock and possibly a little bit out of jealousy.
A mom in the stands can even be seen telling her child to cover his ears.
Tiafoe wants to get the show on the road, but before serving the ball over to Krueger, he turns and blurts out, It cant be that good!
The audience lets out a roar of laughter,because honestly, everyone is just kind of confused.
